Lead-wire combination mushroom shaped repair units are multidirectional and can be applied in any repairable area of radial and cross ply tyres (tread, shoulder or side wall). The lead-wire repair units are inserted into the injury from the inside of the tyre and pulled through from the outside. Both stem and patch are gum coated to ensure a complete bond, both through the injury and on the inner liner. The units are black with grey gum on a blue poly backing and will vulcanize chemically or in a heat curing system.
